Happy 2010!! NEW Copic Creations Challenge and A NEW DT for "Shirley's 2 Girls"!!

Here we go!! Happy New Year and I am wishing you ALL many many Blessings for 2010!! I am sooooo excited to announce that I am a NEW DT member for "Shirley's 2 Girls"! Yep, they got a new crew for the new year and I am just hoping to be able to keep up with the FAB talent! Check out the new DT blogs on the side list of my blog! Rubbernecker GQ Polar Bear

Quick post today: Yet ANOTHER Christmas card. This is Polar Bear from Rubbernecker stamps. I think I will send him to my brother! He kinda looks like him! he he he he...hope my sisters arnt reading this! Really..I LOVE my big brother and my sisters! I used the K & Co. Winter Wonderland dp again..and my MS punches with my Copics. Happy Wednesday Hump Day! tfl!

Copic Creations Dec 15th challenge- coloring Pine Trees

Yep, It's December 15th already folks! Every year I seem to "count down" right about now... How come I never get done what I want? Well atleast if you get over to the Copic Creations blog you can see some gorgeous eye candy! The challenge is coloring Pine Trees and House Mouse is the sponsor with a $25.00 dollar gift cert! Woooo Hoooo!! These cards are so darn cute for this challenge I just cant stand it! I just sat here shaking my head at them. Marianne Walker has a GREAT tutorial over on her blog to look at for help. Check it out HERE. I was coloring right along with her on the pine using G14, G17 and G28. My mouse image is called "Mice Star" and he is colored with E31 and E33. The tattered little star is Y21,23 and E33 with a touch of Yo2 I think. The "glow" is Y00. Background is BG000 and I made some cloud forms (hard to see) with torn paper and the same BG000. The sentiment was computer generated. DP is K&Co. Winter Wonderland (love this) and the cool glitter button is American crafts Elements. "StretchNBubbles" Tree with Heart

Here is a really cute digi-stamp that I got from "StretchNBubbles" digi stamp store. It is called Tree with Heart and it was FREE! Yep..get on this blog peeps!! Check out the cute digis and see the freebies!! I paper pieced the tree and sewed over it with my gold thread again. The dp is old...sorry..called Fruit Medley I think. I grabbed some other scraps and embossed "peace"...tfl!

Wooo Hooo! Lil ol me is guest designer for "Shirley's 2 Girls" this week! I got the challenge early and this cute image - "I'm in a Holiday..Kind of Mood!" ha ha! This is a sketch challenge with a "twist"! The "twist" is to add some glitter or bling. I confess..you dont GOTTA ASK ME THAT TWICE! he he he.. :) I colored this chick up with Copics and used a white poster paint Sharpie to add some snow dots. I sewed with some gold thread and added some stick on gems for a Christmas light look. Then..used my MS border punches and the pine punch for the top right. I sewed over them again for a Christmas tree look. The dp is BG from last years pad and HERE is where you can snag this sweet image to color up your own Holiday chick! :) If you have still not seen the Shirley's 2 Girls site you should give it a look. They are going ALL DIGITAL! I need to get in the Christmas mood like her!! Take a look at the S2G challenges and get in on the fun! On December 13th over at SNR, Shirley's 2 Girls is also offering up a FREE DIGI! All you have to do is be a member of the group to get it . Sweet Snowman

This is "Sweet Snowman" by Penny Black. I am trying like crazy to get more Christmas cards done! Time sure flys and I want to do alot of different ones this year so hope that I can accomplish that! Dp is K & Co. , Winter Wonderland and it is just gorgeous. I colored this guy with Copics..and used CB folder and an EK border punch. The ribbon is from my LCS and the snowflake was in a small pack also at my LCS. Truthfully, I colored this a while ago so I am not sure what all Copic colors I used. But, the outline on the Santa is C1 and BG000. The background blue is also the BG000 plus BGO2, and BG15. Colder weather is coming and here comes Winter!! tfl and have a nice weekend!

NEW COPIC CREATIONS challenge for Dec 1 with a prize from Whipper Snapper designs! YAY!

Over at Copic Creations the new challenge is SNOW..or Snow Men. I picked this adorable Penny Black stamp called "here comes Christmas". I think Snow is a pretty easy job to color and I only had to outline with 2 Copics. C1 and Boo. Actually if you check out the other dt members you will see similar choices. The sky here is B93,95 and 97. Too bad that isnt the weather here...AHEM.. The red bow is R24 and R29 and ..E00 and E93 for the hedgehog faces. Package is YR12 and YR24. I used a MS punch and an EK. Silver stickles were added on the little Christmas lights. ALSO..this month WHIPPER SNAPPER is sponsoring us and they are giving away an AWESOME prize! Check out the CC blog and give it a try!
