Altered poison bottles

The new challenge over at STAMPOTIQUE dt challenge blog is given to us by Maria this week.  She wants us to make a "poison bottle" and use a STAMPOTIQUE image for Halloween.
I bought my bottle at the lcs and stamped the "heads" image with black stazon.  The little wood tag was stamped with the skeleton head on the Halloween cube 2.  Then I used some clear glue (use something that will adhear to glass well, i didnt!) and just dripped it on the neck down to hold some beads in gold and black.  The opening is painted with just some gold glass enamel paint.  I weathered the cork with some black ink and put some beads on some corsage pins and just pushed them in.  What about the liquid?? you ask...lol it is my dh's beer with a little red food color!  Check out the other AMAZING creations by the girls over at the blog...they are really really cool!  Remember there is a $30.00 gift at stake from the store to win.  I would also like to enter this in the following two challenges:  "If the shoe fits...scrap it!" = Inspired by Halloween and  Fab N Funky spooky challenge= Hubble bubble toil and trouble!!    TFL :)

Catered Crop FTR23.... I am cooking for myself!

Well....really...my card got picked to case along with another for the new challenge over at Catered crop!  Who knew a "crack showing man" would come thru for me! lol Take a look :)
So here is my newbie: Who doesnt love a baby?....and esp from Mo...  :)

Well..Linda....I THINK stamps wise...I could assume there might be a "baby bare butt" goin on here! lol
I decided to use one of my Fall favorite images from Mo's digital pencil...Patrick in the pumpkins.  He's got a little mud goin on the face...too darn cute hiding in the pumpkins :)  The "recipe" over at Catered crop calls for A Fall theme and colors, "bottoms"...ok...well..how bout a baby bottom that you cant see at the moment?...he he he...Color medium= copics, Embellishments?=lace, thread, twine, buttons and ribbon...Tools?=leaf punch .
I also discovered that Mo's challenge is to make a card inspired by a song...well, how bout a nursery rhyme.."Peter Peter pumpkin eater"?  Guess that could change to be "Patrick" too!
Thanks for looking!!

Spooky Halloween bags!

I am so lucky to  belong to a great art group that meets monthly with some very talented ladies!  This month when we meet we are to bring treat bags to swap...with art goodies inside. :)  So ofcourse I couldnt wait to use all my Daniel Torrente images from STAMPOTIQUE! lol  Just picked up some brown kraft bags and
I started with "jammin" over here..........
Background is inked up using a TH mask first and the no 13 is SU.  I also used "bla bla bla".
Next I used "Minky girl", "two sticks", "sun design" and "bla bla bla" on the tag.... the vine on her feet I just doodled...
here is "sun design"and "halloween cube" with the "bla bla bla" on the tag again..

AND below I used "heads", the "halloween cube 2", and "even silence speaks" sentiment:

I folded down the tops of the bags, stapled on some black netting, added a black rubber mouse and some fake garlic :)  Topped it off with the colorful "tie die looking" fabric pieces.  I hope the girls like them! TFL
I would like to submit and link up to the following challenges! :  Pile it On challenge blog= "Fall is fun!",
ABC  DT challenge blog= "pumpkins", "Stampin for the weekend"= colors of Autumn and "Inspire me Fridays"!!

SDC 40...Nellies' challenge to make a tag

Sweet " Nellie" fellow dt member at STAMPOTIQUE is the hostess for the new challenge.
Make a tag...any kind..any size for fun. :)  I made two and then put one on a card.

I used the" Halloween 2 cube" (pumpkins) and stamped

with Stazon.  I also used stamp "sun design".  I sponged
color on with Ranger distress inks and I needed small
leaves so I just punched with a leaf border punch and used it like a stencil .  The letters were just computer generated.
Pumpkins are colored with copics....still usin them :)

On this next one I am still playin around with my inks and I wanted to use some paints too.  I  used a new stencil (lovin stencils) and sponged orange paint over my inks.  After that dried I used these images from STAMPOTIQUE..."sun design", "quasimoto 3" and "heads"..which is stamped in light blue ..kinda hard to see here.  I did a little sewing and then stamped the "beauty" sentiment (also from STAMPOTIQUE) and put it on the tag last. TFL and  remember to check out the challenge blog to see the rest of the dt members tags !  :)

Every dog has his day!

Got this hilarious image as a freebie over at Marlenes' blog.  She cracks me up and if you are ever in need of a laugh (hope u r easy going ) then you should check out her blog.  With the bad news goin on all over the world I thank God for my ART and a good laugh!  This card was made for my dog's groomer.  Since I know her personally I like to make her a card with her tip in it. :)  She told me my pug was not very well behaved last visit to get her nails clipped and a shampoo!
I think she will really get a kick out of it.   Marlene gives her art as a freebie first usually I think , then she sends it somewhere to sell.  I am so glad I grabbed him!  ha ha ha! Notice I said "him" ! lol  This has got to be a male dog right??  lol tfl!
