New for Jan 09- Lift Up Our Hands! by Our Daily Bread designs

This is my first card with the newest release from ODBDesigns for Jan 09! I used Flair paper called "Songs of praise" (also avail at ODBD web store) and an Ornare template for the piercing. The Ornare is from ODBD store too. Gosh, maybe I am being a whiner but that piercing sure makes my hand tierd! LOL The end results are gorgeous tho! The stick on gems were from Michaels on a dollar rack along with this cool little gem cross-what a deal! The corner is the cuttlebug die cut. Thanks for looking! Its great to make a card after all the holiday business is almost over. Looking forward to hopefully getting more time to STAMP this new year!

Merry Christmas? by MFT

Love this set by MFT--finally got a minute to make a card with it! The dp is by The Paper Co. and called Christmas Treasures Garland... I cut out the ornaments and popped them up--sewed (famous gold thread) the hangers and the stars trim--popped up the wrapping paper on the floor and painted angel wings shimmerz on the light area. I was a little disapointed that the shimmerz dragged a little red ink in but I guess next time I will know it! tfl! :)

OCC Sketch challenge**Sleepytime Riley!!

Just got 2 new Rileys' and decided to try the OCC Sketch challenge. This paper is old basic grey and the primas were soooo cool! They came with these little ornaments in the can! I sewed just 2 lines with the sparkly thread stars (again ofcourse)-(wonder when I will tire of that...) even tho you cant see them too well. Riley is colored with copics. He is tooooo darn cute! tfl!

Merry Christmas!! yep, I kinda cheated...

Well, this stamp is from the same We Worship set at Our Daily Bread designs. I just felt like doing something a little different! The paper had been given to me long ago and the deer punch is MS. I feel as tho I should keep using that gold thread! :) This card is a LITTLE bright!

We Worship every Sunday!

Here is yet another card using "We Worship". The dp is called "Glitzmas" and bought at our local craft store- Catans. I really like the big swirls on the greens and thought it would look good snowy...The trees are popped up and I used "stickles" all over the place! :) I bought 4 new stickles bottles and it was a long time since I had used them. They sure have ALOT more colors now!! decisions...decisions.....

niece Kelly....she is a stamper too!!!!!

daughter Holly--nephew Kenny

Thanksgiving celebration with the cousins!

Speaking of "princesses" --Here are some great ones of my daughters and their cousins on Thanksgiving 008!

My 2 nieces' Annie and Lisa...daughter or "princess" Jami on right.

"The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;"

Another card from ODBD ofcourse! "I Wait for the Lord" I really have a thing about creating some sun light somewhere in my cards...so this verse is great for that! I have also had this pack of DCWV "Once upon A Time" papers and since my 2 DD are no longer "little princesses"--I wasnt sure what I was gonna do with this paper pack but I absolutely LOVE it! The DP is "Amazing Grace" paper available at ODBD and the corner (cut out) and panel it is on -is from that once upon a time stack. The dove is a MS punch and I sewed a border on with that sweet gold thread!! Oh, and the branches were wiped in versa and emb in gold! :) tfl!

Our Daily Bread designs New Dec release-"Worship the Lord"

Today-I decided to post this GORGEOUS new set from ODBD for December! This set is really a special one for me since my faith is so important in my life. I work at our parish church here in little Hinckley, Ohio and it is so totally rewarding! The little hanging star comes from a package of many purchased at "Catan's" craft store and I just fell in love with them when I saw them and knew I had to do something with them. The paper is SU, and the shiny red paper is from Archivers. I also used wc pencils and SU markers and OFCOURSE the MS punch AGAIN! lolol I can not get away from using that punch! What will I do when it gets warm out??
