Studio L3 Compendium of Curiosities challenge

Just a post to get in so to say "under the wire" on the challenge over at Studio L3 blog . This time it is  Page 63 of Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities book.  The challenge is using  Dimensional collage fragments on your art.  .I have had this notebook over here ready to be covered for myself and you know how that goes....stuff for myself gets put aside..I LOVE Tim's book and love the Studio L3 blog so I had to get in again knowing they are winding down over there. I also made a promise to myself to use up all my stuff and back off from buying too much new this year....rite....  This art journal book will hold pics I take of everyday life and my thoughts and journey.  I took a great Art journaling class at the Cleve Inst of Art and I was so disapointed when it ended because I found it to be so relaxing.  I covered this with some gorgeous papers from a Prima pad, "first blush" and I used some really pretty butterflies from an old  K&co border pack. Now, the TH book says to use glossy accents but I couldnt find mine in my messy craft room! SO I used Martha Stewart decoupage glue and sealer..it was marked down on a discount table when I picked it up.  Worked pretty good!  I got to use 3 fragments here and yes these are pretty addicting! :)   tfl
