Woo Hoo! It is May 1st and I have all kinds of cool things to tell you! First off the Copic Creations bloghttp://copiccreations.wordpress.com/ has a new challenge for you! We are using flowers, purples and lilacs to tempt you!! My card is a House mouse image that I picked up a long time ago and some clear flower stamps I found in a local craft store! I love purple so I loved coloring these flowers. Copics used on these flashy flowers were: V04,V06,VO9,V12,BVO8 and BV13. I also used an olive and a pale yellow for the middles with a little black for spots. Make sure to check out the blog to see everyones cool creations! Next up is ONE of the new release sets for May from Our Daily Bread designs! This set is called "GOD BLESS AMERICA". IF THIS ISNT A GOOD MESSAGE FOR OUR COUNTRY TODAY ..I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!I only hope that with all the "change" we are headed for we dont continue to kick OUR LORD out of our country!! I grabbed this verse to make my first card with this "Memory box " dp pack that I bought at ODBD. I know I keep mentioning all the cool new stuff at ODBD, but the dp is really so cool and I am loading up on it, trying not to hoard it! Also..ODBD is giving you a really cool sketch challenge to start with! Why dont you play along? Just label your creation ODBDSCO3 plus ODBD when you upload to SCS. This sketch is awesome! I was just looking at the new bundle release at ODBD yesterday and telling myself I need to get that set. I love the verse you used on your card and that's what caught my eye first.
