Little Adobe in New Mexico....

Well, I have 5 sisters with 2 of them living in New Mexico now. I have been going to visit them for the last few years in the spring and once over Labor day wkend. If you have never experianced ABQ, Santa Fe or Taos before and you like art...this is the place to go! Oh, and did I mention margaritas????lololo Really, it is soooo artsy there and I LOVE to go and have fun with my sisters. This stamp is from a store there called Guadalupaes (sp. not correct I'm sure) Fun rubber stamps! It is on the plaza in Santa Fe. They have stamps there I have never seen before! Alot of "Day of the Dead" stamps too. Needless to say, this is where I got this stamp and it is from Stampamania. It is cold here now in OH and I felt the need to make a card with it to remind me of the warm sunshine there!! It is simple, copics, MS punch, pencils and Daisy doodles flowers. The dp was some old southwestern paper I had hanging around here. My sister has the red chiles hanging on her front door also, and she even has that little blue bench inside her house! tfl!!

I love this Jane! It totally makes me homesick for Arizona... There's a part of Tucson much like what you described - lots of art galleries and music and handcrafted items. And even little houses that look just like this!! Love how you alternated the punched edge on top/bottom!
hugs, Jami

The colors on this are just so pretty! Very nice!
It's funny you should be talking about Santa Fe.... the last time I was there, was when I was a teenager...(long ago) lol... and I was just thinking yesterday about it, and how beautiful I thought it was. Hope to see it again some day.
