Alter something! SDC 47

Happy Wednesday!  The new challenge from Stampotique is to "alter" something..anything!  Need an idea?  Check out what the girls did here :)  I have been spending MUCH time watching tutorials and reading about art journaling  and techniques (prob too much time).. When I am browsing sometimes I see something that I want to jot down so I wanted a little technique/notes book.  I found this little wooden one at a garage sale long time ago.  It is painted with acrylics and inks and stamped with this awesome sentiment by Sark.. "lying in bed" #8889....love it...and the little girl "peeking" up is "Marci"#6049  both from Stampotique.  The inside pages are some really nice paper to write, doodle and paint on.
Also...over at the Gingersnaps blog, Stampotique is the sponsor for the whole month of January..
Today the challenge is to see your "glorious greens"  I made this tag with all my green scraps, "floating dog" from artist Kira Nichols at Stampotique, a little bingo card, copic markers for coloring and a fish rub on.  "Floating dog" reminds me of a Pug...and I just happen to have a Pug so I love it!   The wonderful green ribbons were a gift.. :)  BOTH challenges offer a $30. gift to the Stampotique store! Have you ever checked out Effy Wild's blog.. she's running a year long course for free with lots of art journaling videos along the way and showing how to alter a book.. well, worth a visit! Look out for her Book of Days.
