STILL waiting on Spring...for Pete's sake....
So....I finished this card....I took a pic of it in the beautiful sunshine this morn...wow...then the Cleveland weather takes over later in the SAME day!
What a difference a day makes! lol...My card begins with the image "large butterfly" #3047 a new image from STAMPOTIQUE. I stamped and embossed in black and colored with copics. I have been seeing ALOT of Core-dinations cs these days so I fell in with the group and used some! I embossed with my cb and put this die cut "fence" (also emb ) on top. The flowers are from a pack of K&co. "cuts" and I bought some cheesecloth from the grocery store the other day to sew on. So simple but pretty. I hope this card "fits" the following challenges: "365 CARDS"= mix and match, use 5 diff products (atleast 5 manufacturers)= 1. core-dinations cs 2. K & co die cuts pack 3. Stampotique image 4. copic markers 5. cuttlebug....... ALSO the "Belli challenge"= sewing (on the side of my card and to keep the cheese cloth on) TFL! Hope Spring gets to you a little sooner!

Two cards to share today! The first is for the challenges "take a word" = Blooms ! and for "stamp something" =Spring! I used this absolutely sweet image from STAMPOTIQUE called : baby #9039 and colored her up with copic RV colors then mounted her on MME Stella Rose dp (love this stuff!) :)...made for a friend expecting any day now and what better time then Spring for a new baby?
Next image is also from Stampotique called "the homested" #8854. I used Graphic 45 paper for the base along with some red core-dinations (came embossed like this) and just stamped the image in black. The x ribbon is from a lcs and the cool button from JoAnns.
The sun is brite here today but it is still bitter cold! Okay by me tho...good day to walk the dogs! tfl!

A Triptych card
Stampotique has a great new challenge! This week the awesome Vicki has picked this fun site to go to and download a pattern to make a triptych card . Use a Stampotique image and get in the draw for a $30.00 gift to spend in the shop. I picked this huge block of images called "beauty mosaic #7067. I stamped it on several papers from a couple Prima pads (nursery tales and first blush) and one called "sleep" by Daisy D's paper co. I cut them out and arranged them on this SU cs and stamped the bottom fronts with "lavender sprig" #3043. I did a little sponging and embossed gold on the top of the doors. The inside is the cut out sleep paper and I used my computer for the inside sentiment. I hope to use this for a graduation or birthday card. tfl and check out the new images at Stampotique.... :)

New Copic Creations for 3-15 and an ATC for the Bliss swap
A day late here but my card for the Copic Creations challenge 3-15 "blues". The awesome sponsor this time is Sugar Nellie stamps and this blue darling is called "Belle flower" by Leanne Ellis. I am a huge fan of Leanne Ellis stamps so this was fun to color. Funny cuz when people ask me my favorite color I always say blue...funny cuz I dont use too much! Go figure. The dp I used here was a rak of several and I used a Sharpie white for the dots and some blue stickles. Check out the CC blog to see what the other dt members did and get the details on the color blues we all used. Easy enough challenge to win some candy from Sugar Nellie!
Next up is a peek at my ATC for the Blissfull ATC swap this month...we were to use this image to make an ATC..here is what I came up with. I just combined some scraps of dp again and cut up a few butterflies from a K&co border for the top. TFL! happy Weds to you!

StAmPoTiQuE has got some neeeewwwww images...yep! They are pretty cool too!
I put these TWO very different type images up to show you! First, is "hare"..he he he...I am not sure why but I love him. I combined him with the "lavender sprig" (newbie too) and a computer generated sentiment. In keeping with using more of my dp that has been around here 4-ever...I used BG archaic for the dp, a MS butterfly punch and an old K &co. brad.
Next is this s w e e t "pretty party dress" image. This image was screaming "paper piece me!!" PLEASE!! lol I did get ONE new dp pad from Michaels...couldnt help it...Julianne by K& co and this is where I came up with the flowery dress. :) The little "floral flutter " image (newbie again) is stamped on the bottom corner and one of my fav sentiments from StAmPoTiQuE.."happy happy"...cut out one of the "happies". Try to get a hop over to the store or the blog and check out the "goods". TFL- have a great week!

Physician of the Year- a Congrats card!
My sister works for a team of Orthopedic surgeons and really admires them all. The fact that she herself has "needed" them in the past when they pulled through makes her job even more rewarding. She called the other day to tell me that the one doctor she works for was just named "physician of the year" at their local hospital and she and her co-worker would like to give him a special card. In comes "Stella" from Bugaboo stamps (work never hurt anyone) . My sister told me that they adore this Doc and have been telling him that they "knew all along" he was deserving....:) Making it look like they "stuffed the ballot boxes" I just typed up some "votes" and cut them out and crinkled them a bit...it is a tiring job! Just ask Stella! lol Dp is BG and the flag banner was just some cut up triangles. Stella is colored with Copics. The inside says "WE KNEW you would win this! " THIS is also my entry in the "catch the bug challenge blog" going on!! TFL! Have a great weekend!

Studio L3 Compendium of Curiosities challenge
Just a post to get in so to say "under the wire" on the challenge over at Studio L3 blog . This time it is Page 63 of Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities book. The challenge is using Dimensional collage fragments on your art. .I have had this notebook over here ready to be covered for myself and you know how that goes....stuff for myself gets put aside..I LOVE Tim's book and love the Studio L3 blog so I had to get in again knowing they are winding down over there. I also made a promise to myself to use up all my stuff and back off from buying too much new this year....rite.... This art journal book will hold pics I take of everyday life and my thoughts and journey. I took a great Art journaling class at the Cleve Inst of Art and I was so disapointed when it ended because I found it to be so relaxing. I covered this with some gorgeous papers from a Prima pad, "first blush" and I used some really pretty butterflies from an old K&co border pack. Now, the TH book says to use glossy accents but I couldnt find mine in my messy craft room! SO I used Martha Stewart decoupage glue and sealer..it was marked down on a discount table when I picked it up. Worked pretty good! I got to use 3 fragments here and yes these are pretty addicting! :) tfl

"Carrot" from Stampotique...
I would like to introduce you to "Carrot" from Stampotique....Isnt he/she the cutest? lol I was cracking up when I saw this image. I colored Carrot with copics...some of the YRs..and Gs.. mounted him on a corregated scrap I had here then zig zagged with my sewing machine. The camera image and sentiment were from an old scrap pack (K & co. I think) along with the 2 green mini tickets up top. Dp is MME, Ooh La La set. The edges of the dp were distressed a bit after I place it on black cs and poked holes on it. It is a bit hard to see that it is raised on the black cs. This card should match up to the following challenges:
Paper Variety "lets see your green", Simon Says stamp=" no cook recipe", Papertake weekly "anything goes", Corrosive challenge blog "distressing", Penny's paper crafty challenge= "green" and Fab n Funky=Spring!..yea..Spring! :) tfl!
