Awards from Shirley at Card Art Etc...
I got this awesome award from Shirley today and couldnt wait to put it up on my blog! This second award was also passed on to me from Shirley!! Both are to be passed on to ten people total! Since I am new to blogging and there are sooooo many cool ones out there, this will be difficult to pick! Please click on the awards to see Shirley's blog! It is so amazing and I know you will enjoy it!! Just checking it out you can tell what a warm person she must be! Thanks again Shirley! You are an inspiration to me and many others! Also, I am to pass on this message: The award originally came from Tasha at Millie's Magical Momentshttp://milliesmagicalmoments.blogspot.com/ and she translated the meaning from Portuguese to English: "This award invests and believes in proximity-(creating friendships)! -meaning that blogging makes us close ! also- These blogs are exceedingly charming. These bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbon of these awards are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Deliver this award to atleast 8 other bloggers and include this written text in the body of the award! :) So...this is my goal...I will start with :
1. Kelley at http://kellrick.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Being "tagged" by Jami Bova!! or "STAMP HAPPY"
Hey! How funny is this! I just got home this evening from work and was checking out blogs and found that I had been "tagged" by "Sgt. Stamper" AKA "STAMP HAPPY!" OK- this my first time - thanks Jamie! How fun! In my 4th folder, the 4th picture is a shot I took of my youngest son- 18 yrs old- at one of his high school baseball games! He is now in his first year of college! "Jake" thanks Jamie! :)

Vintage Scrapbook!
Well, I am working on a scrapbook for my niece's 40th birthday. She wanted some pictures of her grandparents when they were young and I had a ton of them! So I started the book with them and I am working my way thru her parents marriage (my broth in law) then onward to her birth and so on! I absolutely LOVE vintage so this is really fun for me!

Old Man Fall ! compliments of Rubbernecker!
Howdy! I love this old man! I bought him quite a while ago at a stamp show here in Akron OH. I have almost forgot about him till yesterday! I made this card for my sister who lives in New Mexico. She has just moved there from Seattle WA and she is a little down trying to adjust. Thought this might make her laugh. We are hoping we can get her home here for a visit near Christmas. As I said, the old man is from Rubbernecker stamps which I always find funny characters from! The paper is Reminisce- Golden Leaves. Gees, what will I do when fall is over....:) thanks for looking!
