MMSC41- A Quick CUTE "PHINDY" image for MMSC41 and an Announcement !

hI aNd HaPpY FrIdAy!! Here is my card for my first time playing in the Midnight Madness sketch challenge! I actually won this image over at PCP from the Phindy's Group and decided it would be great for this challenge! I often check out all the entries over at the MMS blog and thought I should try. This image is called "Mrs. Comfy and Rose". They look like they are having a wonderful lunch! This Mrs. Comfy just gets to me cuz she is so darn cute! Here she reminds me of my lunches with one of my best buds (Nancy) that I enjoy sooo much! If you like her be sure to take a look over at "Phindy's place"!! It's Thurs and time for a New S2G post!

WOW- Where DOES the time go? Cant believe I havent stamped in a week and it is time for another twisted Thurs celebration over at Shirley's 2 Girls! This whole month we are celebrating the 1 year birthday of Shirley's 2 Girls and the new images are ALL about birthdays and celebrating! If you havent checked them out yet, get over there and look at how cute they are! The challenge this week is to make a shaker card. Well, I have not made a shaker card in AGES... so it was fun to jump on this! Sticking with brite colors I thought of my BG Lime Rickey dp and pulled this together with Copics and a couple border punches. Here is a tutorial on shaker cards if needed and make sure you upload your creation to the challenge blog so we can see it and you could be in the running for a very cool prize! In comes the "easy-peasy" idea of this great store bought lime green gift bag..from my LCS- .50 cents I think- and I tied some ribbons from my stash on it. The image is paper pieced and colored with Copics. My card was also colored with Copics and the dp is from my stash of old papers. Border punch is birthday candles by MS. The flower is multiple punched out flowers using the same Fiskars punch and just stacked. Mojo Mon week 125--Isnt "simple" just so hard sometimes??

Working feverishly on an altered book to bring to my son and future dil and I knew I had this S2G image colored. Welllllll...HAD to stop and make a card cuz I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image and sentiment sooooo much!! lolol Here it is for the Mojo challenge this week. So darn simple, yet I thought I better take a pic cuz I WILL GET carried away and stress over what else to put on this card! Too bad I dont have time! This is called appropriately "Break Time" and I laughed out loud when I saw this sentiment that came with it! I colored this relaxing gal with Copics and used ALL BG Marrakech paper (another fav) TFL and MAYBE I should go get that book done now! :)

MOJO Monday week 124

Here is a quickie for the Mojo Mon this week. I used this sweet valentine image from Shirley's 2 Girls called "In the Air". I used my favorite BG Sugar Rush dp and a few MS punches. The sentiment comes with the image and I colored with Copics. G40,82 and BV00,02,04,08 and Y21,E33 and RV02,04,06, BG000, C1 Tfl and dont forget about the birthday fun and prizes over at S2Gs, the "girls"always give away AWESOME candy!
