Hi there! Seems like 4-ever since I have posted! It is time for a new COPIC CREATIONS challenge! The August 1st challenge is being sponsored by Elizabeth Dulemba, a children's book artist. The fun part is ALL HER IMAGES ARE FREE! YEP! Check it out! So the dt has decided that it was TOTALLY appropriate to make "bookmarks" or "gift cards" for books for this challenge. Elizabeth Dulemba has agreed to give the winner a book of their choice! How awesome for this time of year when all the kids are going back to school! I just thought this guy was way too cool! This is "Magritte" and he is REALLY "into" his book! I used BG72,75 and C1,2,3,5, then YR14, Eoo and E93. I cut him out and popped him up on some black cb paper with 2 ribbons and the sentiment computer generated. I had so much fun with this, maybe cuz it was easy! I WILL definitely make more! Go look at what all the other dt members did! TFL- and have a great week- :)

A Bridal Shower :)

Just wanted to share with you a card I made for my future daughter-in-law. Today is her wedding shower and I am looking forward to a beautiful celebration! We ordered little "splits" of champagne with custom labels (we put on) that has the bride and groom's names on them. Then we tied curly ribbon on them! If you havent seen these custom labels, they sure are pretty! Suppose this mom-in-law to be could have "made" them...but atleast I made this card! :) This SWEET image is from Shirley's 2 Girls called "Bride and gifts". Dp is from my scraps! -And the presents were paper pieced. My sister found this little "diamond ring" at Hobby Lobby for me to use and the name was computer generated. TFL!

Hopscotch by Phindy

Here is my card for the Phindy Friday challenge this week..Hopscotch. If you havent seen Phindy's new summer digis you should take a hop over and see how cute they are! I look at this pic and it soooo reminds me of my childhood! My mother taught me how to play "jacks" and "hopscotch". We always played outside in the summer past dark with the neighbor kids. Those were some fun times- Spud, tag, run-the-bases, roller skating with a key to tighten your skates and riding my friends on the back of my bike. Guess I could go on and on. Hey,..did any of you think "transistor radios" were so cool when they first came out?? :) ha ha! Card deets: dp=magnolia ink, Copics, SB and SEWING...BTW...THATS the challenge this week! It's another S2G TThursday challenge-

Use the color ORANGE! That's the challenge over at Shirley's 2 Girls ! My sweet image is called none other then "wine and cheese" . I LOVE these cute images S2G has come up with for summer- hmmm something about wine and cheese....love to sit outside on a warm summer evening and sip some wine with my dogs at my side. :) I colored it with Copics and did a little stitching. Dp is BG Fusion and finished it off with a few MS punched leaves. Join the dt over at the S2G blog and have some fun just using a little "hot " orange for summer! tfl! :)

A card for "Joan's Gardens"

If you havent checked out "Joan's Gardens" before - you really should go take a look. She has a great store with all kinds of goodies and she only charges you what it costs her to ship- (love that)- Now she is extending challenges to win free stuff! I made a quick card tonite to get in on her challenge to make a "kitchen themed" card using a justrite sentiment if you have one (I dont). I used my BG nook &pantry and the little clear stamp set that matches to whip this up. BTW...Joan is having a Cyber garage sale rite now too! :)

For Tag Tuesday- Kard Krazy blog

Thinking of my sister this evening- she is living in Chicago now and was admitted to the hospital yesterday. She has had some very bad luck lately and a constant stomach ache that got considerably worse. The jury is still out on the diagnosis but she is hanging in there. I wanted to try to get a tag done and decided to make a bookmark out of it for her. The challenge is to use a heart somewhere on your tag- thus the border. The image is from my Graphic 45 pad and the bird from an ephemra pack- sentiment is computer generated . tfl!

Time for Phindy

Happy Friday once again! I sure do love saying that on Fridays! The challenge over at Phindys is to use "blue"- or the blues- Here is "rainy day" and she is lookin a little "blue" to me. She is colored with Copics and popped up on some BG Oliver dp. Check out what the dt members did in "blue" too! TFL!

Here is my card for another challenge over at Phindy's Place challenge blog- This is "cookie beggar"- cute..uh?? :) Ok..so .. the challenge is to emboss something on your card-dry or wet. Well...hit me over the head will ya! I didnt like how my card originally came out- decided to re- do it- OFCOURSE it was suppose to be "simple and quick" right??- I ended up taking it apart to make another-- and then FORGETTING to emboss the dp panel it sits on! Aaaaccccckkkk!! Glad it is FRIDAY! :) Soooooo...get over to the challenge blog and check out the CORRECT dt cards and get in on the fun to win a prize from Phindy! Paper Makeup Stamp NEW Release blog hop!

Welcome! Here is my card for the "Paper Makeup" blog hop! First off- If you want to start at the beginning- go here! You should have gotten here from Lisa's blog here. ALSO- did you know that if you gather all the letters in the hop you get 15% off any new release??! My letter to give is "B". My "scent-sational" card was colored with Copics and mounted on BG Wisteria. I also used a little bit of lacey ribbon , a MS border punch, a Zig white painty pen (dots) and a sb die. "All Tied Up" with "Phindy" on Friday!

A gorgeous day here in OH- youngest son working outdoors next to my property at the golf course- he stops home to see "Bubba" our "other" boy...dog! :)

Here's the challenge from "Phindy's place " blog- Use Red, White and Blue! Ofcourse my little guy here is called "All Tied Up" and he cracks me up! The sentiment was computer generated- Reminds me of me! Dp is BG Oliver (so cute) and this was colored with Copics--Reds--ugh! I really dread coloring red till NOW...I follow Pam Spark's blog who used to be on Copic Creations dt with me and she is one of theeee bestest colorers I know! he he he! Her "reds" are always PERFECT! Thanks Pam! :) Sooooo- why dont you pop on over to Phindys and play along with us this week?
