Friday is here folks! AND....October is too! Here is the new challenge up at Copic Creations: The color Orange. Simple eh? The sponsor is a GREAT stamp co called "Tiddly inks". I used this "Cat Girl" image for Halloween. Her hair is colored with YR02,16 and 18. Then the cat is YR02,04, E13, 51 and 57. DP is My Mind's Eye, Haunted. The sentiment is from the punch out sheet and so is the chandelier- I LOVE that sheet. TFL-

A few western cards...
Hi there! Been very busy getting ready for the BIG wedding day for my oldest son! I havent had much time to craft but had these few cards on hand that I had put together a while ago for a friend who is crazy about horses. So thought I would show them! Sometime next week I hope to get back to some sort of regular schedule! The image used is from MFT and I have had it forever. It is for sure one of my favorites that I never get tired of! It is called Ride em Cowgirl and you can actually get it as a digital now. They are all colored with Copics and sentiments are computer generated. The cowboy on the horse below was from Hobby Lobby and same with the boot. Various dp from BG and DCWV packs. The birthday "possee" is an old image bought at my Lcs. This girl has horses and loves anything western. Hope you will scroll down and enjoy!
Have a great week! :)

Copic Creations challenge blog- a bit late!
Hey there! due to MANY outside (meaning= out of stamp room) influences -my card for Copic Creations is late. Bummer..but BETTER late then never! The awesome Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is the sponsor over at the CC blog so go check it out! The challenge is to use shading on your image! This is "Josephine" and she is so cool! I think I want to dress like her sometimes! lolol Sorry I dont have the exact copics I used , but she is colored with the YGs and shaded with the Cs. There are several shade combos in her patched skirt. Sentiment is computer generated. Thanks for looking and putting up with my quirky post!

Compendium of Curiosities- Page 58-Mask basics
Here is my card for this fun challenge over at Studio L 3 blog. Masking basics by Tim Holtz. Seriously...the entries over there are ALWAYS so very cool! LOVE looking at them all! I masked my "glimmer screens" trees on my kraft stock card front with SU artichoke and pumpkin pie. This technique alone is soooo pretty- oh the many things you can do! Fall ofcourse is my favorite time of year and this sentiment was from a pack of different scraps at my lcs. I REALLY do believe THIS is the good stuff in Life! Happy weekend! tfl-

Bugaboo challenge blog- Stitching and the "rottweiler puppies"
Had to get a card in for this challenge at one of my favorite places for images= "Bugaboo stamps". This is "chow down" one of the rottweiler puppies. Yes, I OWN a rottweiler and believe me...they are the most loyal, loving and sweet dogs you will ever own. My "Bubba" is a bit over a year old now and I couldnt ask for a sweeter companion. They are adorable puppies ! I ALSO own a PUG! Together they are BEST buds! The challenge at "catch the bug" blogspot is to use fall colors and some sort of sewing, buttons or etc on your card. I used a piece of my new BG "wander" dp and colored this cutie with copics. I also used my MS mice border punch. (Halloween- I trimmed off the tombstone) The sentiment is computer generated and CIAO was what came to mind! LOL wonder why? tfl!

Much obliged... by Starvingartistamps
Here is a card I made with an image from Starving Artistamps from their cartoon western images. I have a friend who is a real western lover and I am making her a set of cards so this was perfect. I colored him with Copics and popped him up on the fence. The swirl of "smoke" from his cigar is from a mme sheet and I printed the sentiment on my computer. However, Starving Artistamps has MANY cute sentiments that would go with this image! Dp is Cosmo Cricket=" Wanted " . tfl! Have a great week!

Old Friends are just the best...
Happy Tues and hope your holiday weekend was great! The sun is shinning today and the leaves are falling...gorgeous! I was fortunate to win a suprise pack of goodies from "Stamping DAmour" and it included these cute little girls. I stamped them on a tag that was brushed with vintage photo ink and used some Cosmo and BG dp along with a MS border punch. Loved how quickly this came together for me! The bingo card was in a pack of scraps found at Michaels. This card I plan to send to my "old " girlfriend. It also fits the following challenges: Stamp Something= something cute! (I think so :) and Stampin for the weekend= shabby or vintage. TFL!
