NEW Copic Creations challenge and Shirley's 2 Girls

Can you beleive it's July 1st?? Wow...Over at Shirley's 2 Girls we are celebrating Summer, Vacation and Travel this whole month! The "twist" this month is to use "sparkles" somewhere on your card! ( Cant see mine too well- in the sand. ) Here is my card with the image called "Summer"..yep...looks like that to me! This card fits the following challenges: ALLSORTS (embossing), Friday Sketchers , Practical Scrappers using all our Supplies (border punch), Corrosive challenge blog (flowers), and Crafty Catz (use digital image).

Crazy 4 Challenges challenge with "Mermaid"

Happy Monday! Here is my card for the C4C43 challenge blog- with a sketch by Mercy Kerin. Sure do LOVE the name of her blog! :) I used this sweet image from Shirley's 2 Girls called "mermaid" ofcourse! Gotta tell ya- my camera is really bad! But- the good news is I got another and it is charging as we speak! So- hope my pics in the future are better! I used some old K & Co. scraps- (trying to do that alot lately) and the cb, Fiskars water border punch and my new MS seahorse punch! Dont know why I am so excited about using that !! ha ha! She is colored with Copics and stickled all over the place! TFL! HoPe YoUr WeEk is GrEaT!!!

A Phindy Friday challenge- :)

It's time for another challenge at Phindy's blog- Make anything 3-d or an ABC. (anything but a card) This cute little mouse image is called "Hang in there"- This could be used so many ways to give someone a "get well"- but - with it being Summer I thought a quick cute little gift bag or party favor would come in handy! This didnt take long at all and just folded over a cello bag. Anyone know a kid who DOESNT like water balloons?? he he he! TFL! Have a great weekend!

S2G "Something New" tt challenge

Here is the "Happy Couple" NEW over at Shirley's 2 Girls! It is Thursday and you know that means... a new challenge! Make a card with something "New" on it and get in on this ! I have incorporated this card with the sweet Sunday sketch challenge too. Dp is NEW for me by Making Memories:black brocade wedding and so is the red prima flower. Simple and sweet! I have got "weddings" on the brain these days...my boy is getting married in Oct...I am happy...but kinda sad cuz time goes by so fast. :(TFL! Hop on over to the S2G Blog and see what the dt did!

Tag Tuesday and the Cuttlebug spot=embossed tags

Okay- Well I TOTALLY love tags and never get time to make them as much as I want to! I stalk the Tag Tuesday ( Kard Krazy) site and love all that I see there! Also- since I LOVE my CB (cuttlebug spot challenge blog) and embossing , I HAD to do these challenges!! I used some paper scraps from BG and 7 Gypsies and embossed a few with my cb folder. Then, I got to use my NEW CB folder= Caged Bird and cut out a couple. Tag Tuesday is asking to use a postage stamp - these I had just picked up at the local antique mall (German stamps). NOW best of all- I got these VERY COOL stamp images from Estelle at the STAMPSMITH...Arnt they the coolest?? he he he! They are called "Balancing Act". I colored them just a little with my Copics ofcourse! The sentiment is computer generated! TFL! :)

Phindy's challenge blog is hosting a "Summer Sunshine" theme for this Friday's stint! I used "Love Flutterby" and colored her with Copics. DP is Imaginisce- Lucy Bird-twinkle twirls and cut her out with my SB scallop circle. Sentiment is computer generated. Hope you all are enjoying your summer! It goes by way too fast! I am blessed to have my nieces here from AZ and Oregon with their hubs and children! Here is just a quick cute shot of them while we were at the zoo! Have a GREAT weekend! :)

New challenge from the Phindy's Place challenge blog- make a "girly" card. Well...some may say this is NOT " girly"...but I say "yes it is" - ha ha! Dont you wonder who is sending that sweet smelling love letter ? Somebody is gonna love it! Yes indeed folks...this is "love letter"! I have been busier then heck these past few days so I kinda had to color him up quick for this challenge. Hope I did him justice cuz he is just tooooo sweet. S2G Thurs challenge with a twist...Pink

The challenge this week for Shirley's 2 Girls is to use the color Pink on your card. Since we are thinking babies and brides this month- I colored up this sweet image called "Mother knows Best". She is sitting on some very old dp I had that I LOVE...not sure but I think it is from Provo Craft. I also got to use a my new MS punch- Optic Dot and I sure like it alot. I did a little scoring on the dp and punched out the little tab. Funny cuz this image makes me think of me pregnant with my first born. I read every thing I could...made all his baby food and read to him ALL the time...yes..everything for this boy was only theeee best...ha ha! " Earth mother"...that was me...well..things kinda changed with the 4th kid! We wont "go there"...but he is a good kid..I will leave it there.... :) Get over to the challenge blog and check out the cute cards by the dt- maybe it is time for you to win some candy! tfl!

"9th Hole"

Looking for a Father's day image? Here is one for a golf nut in your family! It's called "9th Hole" and it's at Shirley's 2 Girls! Since my oldest is a PGA golf professional ...- I was happy to color this up! :) Dp is BG Origins and I used the cb on the black panel and my EK border punch. I just added a few white dots with my white sharpie poster paint pen and the image is colored with copics and cut out. This is ONLY ONE of the cute digi images available for Father's day- all very cool! TFL - enjoy your weekend!

yep- this chick is called "connected girl" from Phindy's Place! I had to make a birthday card for my sweet little niece "Kelly" who has just turned 14! I knew this image would be perfect!! The new challenge over at Phindy's Blog is to make a birthday card using a Phindy image! Good luck cuz there is always some sweet candy for the winner! Card Recipe: Copics, dp is from Cosmo Cricket, Joy Ride - the little letter tags were on a reduced table from MS and the sentiment is computer generated. TFL! LOVE Fridays!! :)

Time for "Babies and Brides"

Happy Thursday and it's time for a NEW challenge at Shirley's 2 Girls challenge blog. This month it's all about Babies and Brides so make sure you keep "tuned in" to see all the cute babies and (shhhh) the new "Bride" images! The challenge is to make a "blue card" and link it over at the blog for a chance to win some free digis! Here is my baby called " I'm Here!"and you can find it HERE! :) I used several blue dp from the Summer Dream stack- DCWV. I colored my baby with copics, cut him out and popped him up on some blue SU paper. There is a tiny safety (diaper) pin on the ribbon. Check out the other cute cards and TFL!

Hi there- hope u all enjoyed a great holiday weekend! It is June 1st!! Time for another Copic Creations challenge! This time for fun we are coloring "animals"! Any kind will do- and we have a GREAT sponsor for it! HAMBO STAMPS!
