Copic Creations challenge for Feb 1st- "feathering colors"

Hi- and welcome to yet another Copic Creations blog challenge! This month we have that lovely Susana from "Susana's Custom Art and Card Designs" as a sponsor again! A little birdie told me she was giving away a SET OF COPICS as a prize!!! YEP! "that's what I'm talkin about baby!!"...lolololo She sent the dt some of her favorite "Victoria Case" images..or .."pixies" to color up. This one is called "Aurora with bird" and her skirt is "feathered" with these copics: BG000, 01,02,05 and YR000, 02,04,07. My dp is from an old K & Co. 12 x 12 pad and I used a couple MS punches. Thinking of having some fun this year on Fat Tuesday? Maybe just splurging a "little" on some goodies?? ha ha! Take a look at this cute image from S2G for Mardi Gras! I do a little "over eating and drinking" myself that day :) and I guess and I would LOVE to go to Mardi Gras too! For now..here is a little something I made to bring a bottle of wine with me to a get together! I bought the round wine bottle box from my Lcs for about $3.00 and altered it. I painted it then just made the borders and colored this cute image and attached with a hot glue gun. I made the card that could also be an invitation to a party , and colored it with my Copics. Now all this being said...Take a LOOK over at these 2 blogs...GEORGIA and CAT....they are my dt sisters at S2G and I would say that they made the rest of the "PARTY ESSENTIALS"!! HA HA HA!! You will know what I mean when you take a look! !

"Here's to My Friends"

While you are out there "blog hopping" around..here is another cute image from "Shirley's 2 Girls" called "My Friends". Okay...I am guilty of LOVING these images from the "Indulgence" line and I think it is cuz anyone can really relate to them! I paper pieced the one blonde lady and colored the rest with my Copics. I also used my MS city skyline punch (not sure if that is the right name) and the dp is from Karen Foster designs. This set comes with some adorable sentiments and I am grinning while coloring each one!

It's "TwIsTeD ThUrS" again at the Shirley's 2 Girls Blog!

Here's the sketch over at "Shirley's 2 Girls" challenge blog and the twist is "chocolate"...yep! I used this SWEET image called "Expresso" #126. I ALSO was able to play with this new digi-paper from S2G and it matches so perfectly! My image is colored with copics and sponged. I used a white painty pen and MS valentine punch. If you havent checked out these SWEET new images from the collection called "Indulgences" then you must be under a rock! ha ha! They are absolutely adorable and there are so many to choose from. CCEE challenge...S2G= Dog in Chair..

First..FYI...Shirley's 2 Girls is gonna extend the Indulgence blog hop to Weds!! Good news so get hoppin! In the meantime I pulled out an oldie but a goodie image! This is "Dog in Chair" also from S2G. Being a dog lover I couldnt resist this image! Perfect for the CCEE challenge! DP is BG origins , flower punch layers from Fiskars, buttons are BG also and dot border is a MS punch. This could very easily be ME taking a nap! I have been known to fall asleep many places! ha ha! This is colored with Copics...YOO,02, O6, G40,82,94, YR23 and Y21, YR07, E13,15,17, C1 and C5. TFL and have a great weekend! :)

Here is my first time card for the Saturday Spotlight Challenge blog. Use snow flakes! I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE this cute image from Impression Obsession! This image is called "A Bump in the Snow"...and I absolutely had to have it. When I saw this challenge was for snowflakes...wow..I had a reason to use it. Dp is K & Co. and I used Copics to do a little coloring. TFL!

Shirley's 2 Girls- TWIST= "Anything But A Card" challenge!

Shirley's 2 Girls is releasing some AWESOME Valentine images! These little inchies are called "Valentine Love Inchies". This challenge is to make "anything but a card". When I was told that ..I thought "oh no"..I really dont think I can come up with something". Then I started "cruising" SCS and remembered seeing these cute little "post it" note pads. Now I am sure that MOST of you have done something similar but I never had...EASY !! I just loved how simple and cute these came out using the new "inchies" set from S2G! I bought 3 "post it" note pads ($2.00) in Walmart and cut 3 papers- 3 1/8 x 9 1/4. Then I scored at about 3 & 3/8, 3 & 3/4, and 7 & 3/4. Just make your folds and you are ready to make any kind of top! Dp sewed is BG Sugar rush and CB heart, MS border punches and I popped up the inchies that I had colored a little with red Copics. Ofcourse the post it pads are secured inside with strong tape. They are so cute cuz they close like little match books! Perfect little gifts to give my dds' for their desks at work!! Mojo Monday week 121 Riley is sick!

Decided to use Riley cuz I havent been seeing too much of him lately. Thinking of someone I know who hasnt been feeling well, I matched him up with the Mojo Mon challenge. I colored him with some Copics and used BG Lemonade dp. Just sewed a little and used a MS punch, buttons and a couple Primas. Short and sweet..love it when it turns out that way! TFL!

my First "twisted Thursday" challenge as a DT member over at "Shirley's 2 Girls" and I got to use "Zola Fetch" a brand spankin new image ! She IS a "Hot-tee" and my dh wanted to know what the heck I was coloring!?? :) Here is this weeks' sketch and the "twist" is to use "hearts" on your card. Digital Tuesday Challenge..A Valentine Card

Digital Tuesday Challenge has Shirley's 2 Girls for a sponsor so I had to get cracking and make a Valentine card to enter! This is my card using the new BG Sugar Rush dp and my CB and Copics! This new digi image is called "All Sizes" and it is one of several new images being released over at the store! Crazy 4 Challenges..use polka dots

Here is a quick card I couldnt wait to color up and finally got the chance. I snagged this cute little FREEBIE house from Shirley's 2 Girls and it had two sentiments. "Home Sweet Home" and "There is no place like home". I was really thinking of my son who was home for the holidays with his future wife to show us the ring and celebrate a bit. Okay..maybe more then a bit! he he he! I miss both of them already! This was an easy peasy card to put in the box along with the shirt he left behind and maybe some cookies!DP is BG and image is colored with Copics. I used my SB book die cut and CB the navy then just cut out a few flowers to pop up with the house. tfl!
