New Copic Challenge Blog! "Copic Creations"

Today is the first day of a NEW COPIC challenge blog and I am on the DT!

The first challenge was to make a card featuring coloring of "faces". I absolutely LOVE this stamp called Santa collage...by Rubber Stampede and I couldnt wait to use it! The copics I used on this Santa face were.. Yr00 powder pink, R20 blush, E00 skin white, B00 frost blue and a little of the BG01 aqua blue for the eyes....sounds like alot of colors for just this face uh?? he he ...Yep..used them all...The dp is BG Wassail and I did ALOT of sewing! The punches (ofcourse) were MS and SU. Oh, and I glittered with none other then...dazzleing diamonds! by SU! TFL and MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT WHAT THE OTHER DT MEMBERS DID BY CLICKING ON MY LITTLE BLINKIE!!!! :)

Mojo #79 = ODBD "Spirit"

Better late than never...my standard line.. wanted to get this card in before

8pm tonite...Mojo 79 sketch..simple card but a sound verse... This is from one of the verses in the Scripture 2 set from Our Daily Bread designs. Betty Wright chose this verse and it is awesome just like the whole set! Betty's blog...http://gbedwright.blogspot.com/2009/03/from-atc-to-card.html is worth checking out! The dp is the Luxury stack from DCWV...have had it for quite some time but havent used it yet. 2 Red Bananas inspirational challenge..."He who dwells"....

While blog hopping...checked out 2 Red Bananas http://2redbananas.blogspot.com/2009/03/banana-bandit.html and couldnt resist this challenge....after all...these are my favo colors!! Kelley at ODBD gave me this dp from Flair designs ...Amazing Grace collection... it was the first thing I thought of! The verse is from ODBD new aniversary set Scripture collection 2 http://www.ourdailybreaddesigns.com/scripturecollection.html The flowers are Primas and I had this dragonfly punch hanging around wanting to be used! tfl!!

Another MFT bubble bin find...Chill Out...

This is a bargain I found at that new MFT bubble bin..cute little stamp and I love the sentiments...The dp is Heidie Grace-Fiskars and I colored with Copics. The punches were both MS. TFL! :)

Lord, You Are the Potter....rustic ...

This is another card using ODBD You are the Potter set. I wanted to make it a little shabby looking and also use my stitch on my machine that I hadnt tried yet.. The pots are copic colored and paper pieced. Not sure I am happy with it...but decided to post it anyways..

SSNOTIME79, MFT bubble bin find..."take a break"..

This is a cute little stamp I found in the bubble bin at MFT. I saw this ribbon challenge and decided to go for it. The dp is again, memory box..sprout! Love it! These lite brite colors are not "me", but ODBD is carrying so many cute paper pads...I am hooked!

The tub is popped up and glittered altho dont know if u can tell in the pic. The challenge was to use ribbon tabs,..and well I felt I still needed to tie some too!! tfl! :)

Okay,...this could be my new favorite cute stamp! Wanting to make something for my sister who just had a knee replacement and she is pretty nervous..... This doggie is so darn cute! He is a Penny Black stamp called "Behave". The dp is memory box..."sprout" I colored him with copics!! I sincerely TRIED not to use a ms punch...but...alas...didnt work.. :)

SPEAKING OF SCRIPTURE.........today is the release of two new sets from Our Daily Bread designs called "Scripture set I and Scripture set II". Each of the DT members chose a verse that is special to them and Kelley made it into two special anniversary sets that are available for purchase today!!!

My verse was picked because it seems to be very comforting to me when I think of the end of time for myself and for all my loved ones that have gone before me.....

I used dp from a brand new s.e.i. paper pad called Windsor....this is also available at ODBD! I also used a Fiskars lace punch and some pearls....the panel was cb and the flowers are primas...

Update..Car Pic...

This is a pic of my daughter's car....They had to cut the car open to get her out.
She actually had a can of soup unopened in a bag for lunch..the impact burst it open and it was all over the car...the passenger side seat was left almost untouched with the garage door opener still on the visor...I guess thats where the Angel was sitting.............

This card is for the Copic Colour Challenge #3. We could use any colours this time but list them and follow the sketch. With my limited supply of Copics (working on that!) I made Riley a little "glowing" tee-hee....He still looks stinkin cute!!!.. The Copics I used were...

G99 Olive, G07 Nile Green, YR04 Chrome Orange, Y26 Mustard- (use this all the time) and ofcourse W1 Warm Gray for shading.....The dp 's are old scraps I had hangin around here...so dont know all the names..sorry...I think Reminisce and Green day, Lucky Charms. tfl!!!

You Are the Potter...ODBD..

Another look at the new release from ODBD...I Am the Potter...

The dp which I absolutely love is Crate paper..Lemon grass collection...I sewed with my sewing machine and pulled out a few scraps from my stash to add.... I had been to an art show last Fri so I guess it inspired me for this card...shabby chickish... tfl! :)

Jusst An Important Reminder....

Well, this is not a card but a pic of my daughter (blonde ) over the holidays laughing with her cousins. I got that phone call very early this morning that all parents dred.....My daughter was in a car accident on her way to work... My dh and I drove to the hospital and found out she would be O.K....Praise God... Someone hit her head on and her car was totalled..She will be 28 next month...She is in a neck brace..jury still out on the injury..her hand is broken..need pins in it because it is in a few pieces..stitches in her leg.....SHE WILL BE OK.....I am telling you all this because when the policewoman came in she told me that HAD SHE NOT HAD ON HER SEATBELT...WE WOULD BE SIGNING THE DEATH CERTIFICATE...from what I understand they tell me she is very, very lucky because they dont think I should look at her car...I am a mom of 4...Hug your kids every day and tell them you love them...AND TELL THEM THIS STORY AND TELL THEM TO WEAR THEIR SEATBELTS!!!!!!!!!!
