Copics Color challenge..

This is my first , and a quick attempt at that...copic color challenge. I dont have alot of time at the moment but I wanted to make a card for this challenge! This stamp from Inkadinkado cracks me up!! It has never been inked and gees...a RED owl at that!!! Oh well... The colors to use were...Bo2 Robin's egg blue...Ro5 Salmon Red...YG 23 New Leaf....didnt have any of those! (way to go Jane) Soooooo...here is what I got..Ygo3..Yellow green...R27 Cadmium Red...Bg15..Aqua. Hey...least I attempted it!! ha ha ha tfl!

MOJO wk 75 SERENITY....by Our Daily Bread..

This is a new release from ODBD called Serenity. I saw this sketch challenge and loved it ! My thoughts were to showcase this stamp with it. The paper is K&Co., I think the pad is called Roam... and I stitched it with the vine stitch on my sewing machine. tfl!

TSGo4 Bling it out!

I decided to try a new challenge...."There She Goes" stamp company issued a Bling it Out! challenge...put some BLING on your card! Well, I have a few of these sets...had a little xtra time so her it is.. This set is called "Whats Up?"..cute! There is a little glitter on the arrow and I put a few orange bling dots on it!! Hope this qualifies!! DP is BG Ambrosia...I love this pad!! I also bought the chip stickers pack...gotta figure how I am gonna use those! I sewed the edges and ofcourse...made sure I got to punch some with the MS punches...addicted to those I sure am! tfl!

The Kids Still Got in !!!!! Taglines from There She Goes..

Got this stamp set a long while ago and this morn I had time for a quickie card.

I was just tking with a young mom the other day who was telling me her kids were driving her crazy! :) I laughed at her and we tked for quite awhile about how funny they can be.. I am sending her this card! I didnt take long coloring it...obvious...but I still am happy bout how it came together so quickly since they usally dont!! ha ha ha The dp is Lemon Grass collection from Crate paper...the rest is simple with alot of paper piercing... tfl!

For the Soul...Christian Love...

This is a card I made for a helper of mine at church. Love this stamp set from Hannah stamps and this great dp...blue awning by K&Co. The windows are colored with copics and SU markers as is the girl. I popped up 2 of the windows for a little dimension and used my favo punches from ms again! Oh, and the leaves were cuttlebugged before punching out. This girl's skirt is also paper pieced. tfl!

This is from the set "I AM THE WAY"... at Our Daily Bread. The dp is BG porcelain and mellow moss. The brad is a K & Co. and I just cb the image all together. I have seen Cindy Haffner do this and I love it! Course everything she does is a total inspiration to me! The punches are ms and fiskars. The dew drops are also available at ODBD. tfl!

"RILEY" again...

I know I have posted one like this before...cant help it! I love Riley and my copic markers! I needed a quick thank-you card for a helper of mine at work. The dp is BG once again and I popped up Riley's head. I just love this stamp!

Dare to Reach out...

Another "Keep My Lamp Burning from ODBD. With this verse all I could keep thinking of is the light. The ink is sponged on, the punch is Fiskars again, and the dp is old so I am not sure but I believe it is K & Co. tfl!

The cool thing about this set is that there are 4 really cool verses that come with this lighthouse and they fit nicely in that left corner of the image! Dina Kowal http://mamadinis.blogspot.com/ designed this set for Kelley and she has done a gorgeous job!

I AM THE WAY... for Easter...

Here is my 2nd take on the new release from ODBD. The dp is the porcelain pad from BG. The flourish was a little cheapie set from a craft store here.. had to scrub the heck off the stamp to get it to accept the ink...maybe cuz it is a cheap stamp?? I dont know.. but I liked it! When making this I felt like I am needing some new ideas! Good thing ODBD comes out with such beautiful new sets every month to make us dt members look so good!! tee hee.....

The dp is from BG the Porcelain collection...love it!! The dove is a ms punch and I sewed the layers. Wish I would have embossed the clover in the corner tho.. Oh , and the ribbon has those little gold balls right on it...pretty.. tfl!

"BUBBA" the terrorist.... :) update..

Well, I have been asked for an update on our "baby"...BUBBA is his name and acting crazy is his game! ....he is doing fine and he doesnt like me sleeping much....I am definitely working on that....my pug Patty is pretty fed up...but she is coping....BUBBA also enjoys eating cords to cameras, computers and headsets. He enjoys socks, underwear,shoes and baseball clothing...we are working on this too......

Finishing up the "Bird box"..

I began to make a set of cards for a gift and then decided they needed a box to go in. The gift is complete! Well, honestly I am not completely thrilled with the end result...but this is it for now..

The dp again is from Urban Prarie collection at BG. However the box dp is from 29th St. Market. Flowers are primas and I used the MS punches. The birds are colored with copics and I "shimmerized" them. Oh, did u know that ODBD carries shimmerz????? :)tfl!

Check out my 2 new cute awards! The "real person, real award" from Shirley at Card Art, Etc. I think Shirley knows EVERYONE on the net cuz she is the sweetist person! Had to make another "bird" card cuz I love this set..it cracks me up! I also love this Urban Prarie paper from BG. I am making a set of cards as a gift for someone and thought maybe they will end up being all birds! :) They are simple and fun to make! TFL!

The third new release from ODBD is "May God Hold You"....and I love it!

To think I use to get angry with my mother as a kid when I ABSOLUTELY had to wear green on St. Patrick's day to school!! :) This is probubly one of my most favo sets. This is also for the CPS 101 challenge...I loved this sketch and knew exactly what paper and brad (for the circle ) I would use. The brad is from a K& Co pack of 12--they are all gorgeous. The dp is My Minds Eye, from the Laundry Line collection.
