Happy New Year 2016 !
Happy to be back to blogging and I am hoping to share and pay it forward as many arty tips as I can.
My niece asked me for a calendar for her office. As busy as I am I couldnt say no but tried
to come up with something "do-able" and not too complicated (time wise).
Starting by hopping over to the"livelaughrowe.com" blog
She has so many cute ideas and she makes available this sweet calendar FREE every year.
I love how she puts it on a home made clip board for display.
So, I printed it out on cs and sewed it to a background (yellow). Then I pulled out all my scraps of ephemra and this cute cat image from artist Janet Klein (etsy- Vera Lane Studio). I mounted all on black cs and I plan on putting it on a clip board so all I have to do is give her a new one each month
when they are posted on the livelaughrowe.com blog.
Pretty easy to switch it out on a clip board. :) I will be journaling this year along with keeping a
"documented" life calendar myself. Thanks for looking !
Happy New Year 2016!

dog hop winner and a bunny journal page
Congratulations Sue for winning the roc postcard in my last post.
I will be mailing it to you once you send me your address :)
Working in my small journal I used "screaming bunny" and some magazine scrap cut-outs.
Always love playing with this little screamer cuz he can do so many things when you put him in pictures!
Did I mention that I love to journal and paint on book pages? I cut bunny up and put him in this drawn glass mug from a magazine. I did some doodling and the sentiment was computer made. :)

HI! this "dog" gets around!
Love this little sweetie called just "dog" from artist roc nicholas at the Stampotique store..He seems to be well loved and "traveled". It seems everyone that buys him has him moving all over the world!
I found this awesome magazine while I was in Cincinnati called "frankie". I think it is from Australia but i am not sure...if you know, please tell me :) I love the articles and the photos. I cut this little room out of a picture, did some doodling on it and stamping (funky leaves image from Stampotique also) then put it on some designer papers.
"Dog" is stamped on some book print and cut out. Isnt he just the cutest? Thanks for looking!

Hello mid- way thru August...
Nope...nothing is under control! lol This is "dog" rubber stamp available at the Stampotique store by artist roc nicholas
I was digging thru my gelli prints and cut this square for my base. I doodled some flowers with a white signo pen and popped on some washi tape. "Dog" is colored with markers (put on with pop dots) and I added some spots on him. :) Sentiment is so perfect for me...pinterest inspired.

yes I LOVE this flying pig....
Once again I have this flying pig zooming into my art studio!
Had to share! Since its my turn up in July to post a creation with a "roc" image and I couldnt resist picking this guy up.
My green pig was colored with yg copics and cut out. Background is ofcourse acrylics swept on with a credit card. I have also used roc's "flying heart" with the wings. Sentiment is computer generated!
Just a note....
due to life responsibilities ..i dont blog as much. I am posting more regular on my Face Book page. If you are interested, send me a friend request!
