US #160 "whisker monster" :)

Over at the Unscripted Sketches blog  it's time for a new sketch.  Here is my take on the sketch using an image from Kira Nichols called "whisker monster with sign". (Stampotique ofcourse! :)

Sentiment was computer generated and I love this little monster since you can make any kind of sign you want!  Thought this would bring a smile to a friend's face who was a bit down.  I colored the image with copic markers and placed it on some home-made dp scraps.  The flower was just some circles cut and I put this little metal washer on the inside from my stash.  I would also like to link this up to the "frilly and funky" challenge blog to use stencils and masks - :)  TFL Hope you are enjoying the weekend :)

    This is so wonderfully fun! Amazing colouring on the cute (I mean, frightening ;D) monster. The flower is fabulous, too - I really like the polka dots (as well as how the dots appear again in the bubble wrap stamped background).

    What a funny get well card! I'm loving that background piece you've mounted your monster on... it is so rich with color! That little circle cut from it is a very nice touch, along with the different stitches. What a great card. Thanks so much for joining us at Frilly & Funkie this week!
