Love that Tag Tuesday challenge blog.   There are some of THE best artists over there..it is one blog I LOOK at all the entries!  The theme for 2 weeks is "Postcards etc.." and here is my entry.  When I first found out I would be on the dt for STAMPOTIQUE  I knew this would be one stamp I would NEED..it's Vintage postcard and doesnt everyone NEED it?  lol  I sponged it with TH weathered wood and black soot, stamped the postcard and ran it thru my cb.  I used a car cut out from graphic 45 proper gentleman pad and some TH photo reel with a flower.    TFL and I hope u r having a great weekend! :)

Mojo 179 and the Catered crop challenge...Eat Cake !

So...have I mentioned I LOVE  "Eat Cake graphics"??  lol...yes..think I have.  Well I also get a kick out of the Catered crop challenge blog.  Fun challenges and great dt.  Yep well.. Eat Cake is sponsoring over there and I couldnt resist "hooking up" with the Mojo sketch for the week.  Is this guy the cutest little pup or what? :)   He is called " Sparky's a Big Dog " and I stamped him with memento black ink and colored with a few copics.  He is cut out with SB and the dp is BG wander .  For the Catered crop ingredients used : patterned papers, kitchen/type images...dog dish???  he he he..tryin!, squares and I used an Eat Cake image!!  taaa-daaa!   These kinds of images always catch me with a smile since I have a rottweiler and a pug...they are hilarious and I guess I need something atleast to hold me over till I get some GRANDCHILDREN....hint hint...  :)  tfl!

Stampotique-birthday wishes! and the Blissful ATC swap for Feb

Had to make a birthday card and since "banners" seem to be a "thing" in blog land -this image reminded me a bit of them.  This is "make lots of wishes" #5020 from STAMPOTIQUE.  I used dp from the Paper Studio called Polka dot-multi and I colored my banners with Copics.  Now the dp with the happy birthday all over it was just computer generated since I couldnt find what I wanted! :)  Also- the top scallop (blue) was colored with copics on Neenah paper so it would match my "wishes" banners.  Came together quite quickly ! I also think I should give a little "shout out" to one of the owners of "Stampotique" since the dt found out MR. JIM recently had  a milestone birthday.... Consider this your virtual card!  ha ha! :)

Next up:  I am a "blissfull trader" over the "BLISSFULL ATC" swap and the month of Feb had a theme of "love" OFCOURSE...  :)   here is my atc with a little part of  a poem I found :

NOW here is my swap partner Sharon's gorgeous atc-  my pic of it doesnt show the really pretty glittery inside but take my word for it= LOVELY!  Check out her VERY inspiring blog to see more of her wonderful work!  I was so impressed and delighted to swap with her!
Thank you Sharon! :)

Notice the little envelope with "miss Jane" written on it!  he he he..... love it! tfl!

CPS and Stampotique!

Stampotique is sponsoring the challenge over at the CPS blog and I REALLY like this sketch!  This card came together so easy- love when that happens!  One of my dds' also wanted me to make a valentine for her to give to her boyfriend so I am laughing over here wondering how she will like this

This CRAZY girl image is called "WOW" #2088 and when I first saw her I ABSOLUTELY had to have her!  Well...truth be told I could probubly say the same about most of the images at Stampotique.  :)  I just love these fun quirky images. :)  I used Vintage Valentine Fancy Pants designs CS and some of that co-ordination type stuff from my lcs.  Then I stamped #601 "bla bla bla" over the cs bottom.  I colored just a bit with copics- dont need much cuz this image is soooo cute by itself and attatched the 3 buttons.  I also did a little sewing on the side.   If you would like to see more of Stampotique images hop over to the CPS blog !  TFL!
hAvE A gReAt  WEEKEND! bla bla bla bla.....bla...bla...bla...bla....   :)

Icccceeeeeeee greetings, Unscripted Sketch chllge, Stampotique heart and more

Sometimes this icy snowy weather is just AWESOME to have - ofcourse that is IF your power is on!  I can get ALOT of stamping in when I dont have to work!  So- my sister is asking for a Vintage Valentine ...  I LOVE to stop in the local antique  mall and check out the vintage cards and I guess everything else :)  I found this vintage valentine and brought it home to make a card.  DP is a vintage feel from Fancy Pants found at Archivers last year.along with a few scraps from my drawer.  The vintage rose was from Michaels on the reduced table (love it) and I "flattened" it with a paper weight.
The script is a free download.  I download ALOT of freebies from Tammy Tutterow ,the Vintage Moth- and the Graphics Fairy, check them out when you can .  My next card below is for the UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES CHALLENGE #91.  I did move the "box" down a little in the sketch...hope that it still fits!  The VERY CUTE heart is from STAMPOTIQUE!  Doesnt this heart just say it all???

I made it for my niece as she will be preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.   It is almost like you dont need anything else on the card !  Then lastly I wanted to post this sympathy card (my sister also asked me for) just to show you how ABSOLUTELY QUICK it came together when u need one asap....

The image (child angel/fairy) was also a freebie download and I typed my favorite bible verse on top and just popped it on a card front.  The little "love" tag was also a buck with a whole pack from MS on the reduced table at Michaels.  So- thanks for looking at my long post today!  Stay warm and safe if you are in the "icy zone" of the states! :)

COOL it down - Copic Creations challenge for Feb 1st 2011

Brrrrrrrr....this post comes at a perfect time with the weather we have going on! :)  Over at Copic Creations the new challenge is to color your image with "cool colors".  Our great dt leader has provided some links with info for your assistance in working with cool colors.  Our sponsor is Lili of the Valley and wow...check out their NEW cute images!  I have colored "Destiny's moon".  This gal looks pretty cool to me :)  I used the G000-02-03-07-and 17 then the BVs'-00-04  .  I used some C1 and BG 000 for the sky then added some glitter to look a little frosty.  Closer to her body is BG02.  The white snow is a Sharpie poster paint pen.  Dp is old and from my scraps, I think from JoAnns.  You really need to check out the rest of the dts' work on the challenge blog....awesome eye candy there!  TFL!
